Duree Center for Entrepreneurship Receives Regional Node Planning Grant

Lindenwood University’s Duree Center for Entrepreneurship has recently been awarded a grant from the Missouri Technology Corporation to support entrepreneurship, innovation, and workforce development in St. Charles, Montgomery, Warren, and Lincoln Counties. The Duree Center will be working in close collaboration with the Economic Development Council of St. Charles County, Missouri Job Center of St. Charles County, and BRPC, the funding will enable the Duree Center to conduct thorough market research and needs assessments, analyze exemplary small business training curriculum, and organize influential networking events that will operate as a collective advantage for the 600,000+ residents residing and working within this region, while simultaneously enhancing the statewide economy of Missouri.

Improve I-70 Program Information

The Missouri Department of Transportation is inviting the public to preliminary information meetings to learn more about MoDOT’s Statewide Improve I-70 Program. Gov. Parson, provides $2.8 billion in General Revenue for the costs to build a third lane of Interstate 70 across the state for approximately 200 miles of I-70 from Blue Springs to Wentzville.
