The Certified Work Ready Communities initiative is voluntary and lead by community leaders. It is an effort to link workforce development to education and align economic development needs of communities. To become designated as being Work Ready, communities must meet certain goals. These include goals for individuals in the workforce earning a National Career Readiness Certificate and goals for local business engagement. The counties of Lincoln and Warren have been identified as communities in progress for meeting these goals.
Don’t miss out! Job seekers can contact the Missouri Job Center of Warrenton and set up testing which can lead to earning a National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC). Employers can support the initiative by giving preference to hiring individuals who have earned the NCRC, helping them to attract and attain a trained workforce. For more information, contact JoAnn Toerper at (636) 456-9467 or email@example.com. You can also visit the Missouri Work Ready Communities site.
